Did they get up there via hit boosting?
Not sure about the first picture but look at these two.
First map is Barnblitz, second map is Highwood.
Looks like damage hit boosting.
I have released a system that reduces damage height velocity by around 30% - as with anything it can be made higher.
Is it only vertical or also horizontal?
Only vertical velocity is touched. ie the z axis
after some testing, your solution seems to work pretty well. it stops you mid air. does it take the basic jump height on hit or does it calculate from the jump height from the hit at that time?
Gets the velocity after on hit damage and changes the z axis speed.
